Consistency and having the right tools are fundamental to Jo's approach to life. While it may seem simple, the small actions we take every day accumulate into significant changes. However, maintaining consistency is where many people struggle.

Jo is tasked with driving the growth and performance of our team. She designs, implements, and manages learning programs to enhance skills, with a strong emphasis on empowering managers and salespeople.

Jo believes that our potential is not fixed; each of us has the capacity to grow, learn, and continuously improve. It's not about where we start but how we embrace the journey of growth.

Jo began her career in the real estate industry in 1989, working for an independent company Bay Realty in St Marys Bay, Auckland. After learning the business's backend operations, she realised the importance of obtaining her sales certificate, branch manager, and ultimately agent's license to keep her options open. In her early 20s, she founded one of the first end-to-end independent property management businesses in Ponsonby. Being young and without a backup plan, she had to make it work. She often says it's a privilege to be in a position with no Plan B because that's where innovation happens, and you either sink or swim.

Jo ran her business for over 15 years before being approached by a large brand to help set up a significant residential real estate office in Epsom. As principal/sales manager, she focused on making this business a go-to for anyone interested in real estate. In partnership with successful agents James and Charlotte Marshall, the business grew rapidly, attracting and retaining a team of high-performing real estate sales professionals for over a decade.

Jo was then approached by REINZ to enhance the residential property management offering and value to members. Her role focused on attracting people and providing value through a comprehensive strategy aimed at sustainable growth and continuous improvement.

Jo firmly believes there is no quick fix to success. In the highly competitive world of real estate, you must be prepared to work hard and deliver outstanding service.

Outside of real estate, Jo has two adult daughters and two grandchildren. She is an avid sports supporter and enjoys a good game of tennis.
