Leah Whiu believes that the best property decisions begin with understanding people. Every move has a story behind it, and her role is to help clients understand what they need, gain clarity around their options, make informed decisions, and move confidently towards their next chapter.

Over the past 35 years, Leah has built a career helping people make important decisions during significant life transitions. Her professional journey has included roles as a secondary school teacher, lawyer with conveyancing experience, legal academic, and psychotherapist. While each profession was different, one purpose remained constant: helping people understand complex situations, ask the right questions, and make decisions that reflect what matters most to them.

Her experience in law and conveyancing also developed strong skills in analysis, negotiation and advocacy, enabling Leah to navigate complexity, protect her clients' interests and support them in making well-informed decisions. Today, Leah brings that same philosophy to real estate, combining a deep understanding of people with the analytical, communication and negotiation skills developed throughout her professional career.

Outside of real estate, Leah enjoys gardening, exploring Whanganui's beautiful heritage streets, parks and reserves, strength training and cycle classes, line dancing and spending time with family and friends. She believes strong communities are built through connection and values being actively involved in the place she now proudly calls home.
