Matt’s ambition, determination and his 20 year business and property market knowledge puts him well ahead of the rest. As part of the North West Auckland Industrial Sales and Leasing team, his expertise helps his clients to achieve better than expected results every time.

Prior to real estate Matt came from a diverse business background and brings to the table a huge depth of experience, holding various executive management roles in key city sites including Auckland. From there Matt built and owned and the award winning Garrison Public House in Sylvia Park, which quickly established its position as one of the top hospitality venues in the country. Utilising this wealth of knowledge and experience Matt subsequently formed his own hospitality group and went on to build and own several more prime sites around Auckland including Pilkingtons, 41 Shortland Street, Auckland CBD; Cleaver and Co, The Brickworks, New Lynn; Northern Union Gastro Pub, Silverdale and The Good Home Gastro Pub, Stanmore Bay.

Matt has first-hand experience of undertaking his own large-scale greenfield site developments where he gained an enormous amount of experience engaging with designers, architects, land holders, developers, legal specialists & build and fit out specialists. He knows property from the ground up and every aspect involved in a real estate transaction.

Outside real estate Matt is a family man at heart and enjoys spending time with his two amazing kids. He’s also an avid surfer, scuba diver and stand up paddle boarder with an obsession for the great outdoors, which he finds is a great way to de-compress from the day-to-day pressures of life.

As part of the Bayleys North West Auckland Industrial Sales and Leasing team Matt works strategically throughout the growing North West Auckland industrial market. Matt believes that better results are achieved as part of a team. He’s passionate about working with people and leading them towards a common goal of success so his clients experience exceptional outcomes. His entrepreneurial streak indicates his creative spirit, competitive nature and ability to successfully understand and negotiate the business aspects of any real estate deal.
